History of St. Mary's Credit Union:

St. Mary's Credit Union was established in 1949 when members of St. Mary's Parish recognized that many parishoner's financial needs were not being met by the banking industry.

Local ownership and democratic control through a member elected board of directors, allowed the Credit Union to ably respond to the social and economic betterment of its members and of the community.

Meeting member and community needs while applying the values of the credit union provided the basis to promote growth of the organization. Today's full service financial institution serves over 8,400 members with assets of over 107 million dollars.
